    Members of the 2nd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment will join the father of one of their Marines, Mike Mobley, as he completes the final 4.5 miles of his cross-country walk called Operation Hero Trek on May 25 at Camp Lejeune. Mobley walked over 2,000 miles across the country to raise awareness of veteran and military issues. He will finish his walk alongside the Marines of 2nd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment during his son's homecoming from service. Those interested in joining the final walk should meet at 8:30 a.m. at the Russell Marine & Family Center.
