Morpho and Loto-Qubec deploy innovative lottery terminals in supermarkets

Paris, October 29, 2010 Morpho (Safran group) is deploying 1,830 S4 lottery terminals in supermarkets and drug stores in Qubec, providing more than 850 stores with an enhanced gaming solution. The S4 terminal, developed jointly with software expert LotSys and in partnership with LotoQubec, is installed in checkout areas and gives players a real lottery receipt, identical to those printed by terminals at regular sales outlets. One main feature of the S4 terminal is that it requires absolutely no changes to the stores infrastructure, a major advantage for supermarkets. The prime factors in the success of this project are the partnership structure, sustained presence and outstanding collaboration with Morpho, said Denis Daly, Managing Director of Information Technologies at Loto-Qubec. Jean-Paul Jainsky, Chairman and CEO of Morpho, added: The S4 project further strengthens the already tight bonds that our companies have formed in the last few years. Morpho and our partner LotSys delivered 8,960 S8 terminals and a download server to LotoQubec in 2007, as well as 9,000 Ticket Checker terminals in 2008.
