Details: Join Kevin Dundon and Catherine Leydon at Cooks Academy as they go head-to-head in a celebrity chef cook-off, judged by three of 2011s winners - 14-year-old Patrick Dougherty from Dublin and gorgeous sisters Alex & Holly Meehan from Gorey - with renowned TV chef Catherine Fulvio keeping the peace! About the Easy Food Home-Cook Hero Awards The Easy Food Home-Cook Hero Awards is a national cookery competition, which is open to all home-cooks and aspiring chefs. For the second year running, Easy Food is looking for supergrans, supergrandads, supermoms, superdads, superkids or someone who is just plain super! With ten categories for super cooks to enter into, there is something for everyone. The competition will culminate with three super cooks being shortlisted from each of the 10 categories who will then be invited to cook their recipe in a good fun cook-off in front of a panel of judges on November 2nd at the state-of-the-art kitchens in Cooks' Academy, Dublin 2. The winning recipes will be announced at a black tie gala event that evening at The Shelbourne Hotel. The call for entries will be officially launched on Monday 28th May, as the search for Irelands unsung heroes favourite recipes and masterpiece dishes begins.
