    Goals Provide transparency and foster competition on permanent Anchored Walls. Provide PennDOT with a Standard that would provide guidance to designers for typical Anchored Wall applications. Provide a Anchored Wall Standard that is based on accepted practice in the industry.     Agreements Optional Permanent Casing 0.6GUTS Testing to 1.33 times service(unfactored) Design Load Language (i.e. latent anchor instead of passive anchor, soldier pile embedment instead of caisson). Proposed Agreements Load Factors EH to 1.35 per AASHTO Redundancy: Load Factors EH and LS to 1 AASHTO does not require redundancy. All the anchors are tested. Details Single Pile
