Strategic Consulting in Ireland

The challenge A leading Educational Committee in Ireland with more than 10 second level colleges and schools in one of Irelands largest Countys was seeing low growth in student numbers and also finding it hard to determine effectiveness of its Strategic Plan. The objective of the study was to do a strategic r review of the existing 5 year plan, by way of understanding success levers and dynamics across its various schools and colleges colleges. The process Our study involved desk research on demographics, regulatory and political landscape of the County and determining their importance on the goals and tasks mentioned in the plan. We then developed a simple mathematical model to assign scores to each of the tasks in the plan to give it a more analytical outlook originating from a largely theoretical body. We then developed a argely questionnaire and conducted focus groups for various stakeholders from Management, to Students, Parents, Teachers and Staff. We then married the scores from our model with the findings of the Questionnaire & Focus Groups to analyse the impact of the Strategic Plan. us
