In the event of a power failure, the system will detect and instantly power critical loads for extended outages using its 220D watts continuous power output rating and 8 batteries. Extending backup run time is possible by connecting to a fossil-fuel generator. The BpS 220D can integrate renewable energy sources (Solar, Wind, and Hydro) to recharge itself to extend backup run time. Until utility power is restored, the system acts as a surge protector between utility power and appliances and does not allow back-feeding to the utility power grid. Common Applications: security systems, furnace fans, refrigeration, computers, sump pumps, phone systems, or anything that runs on 120 or 240 Volts.
