CONTRAINDIC ATION Hypersensitive to drug. Use cautiously in elderly or debilitated patients with severe respiratory insufficiency. Use I.V. formulation cautiously in patients with asthma or a history of bronchospasm. Acetadote is contraindicated in patients with previous anaphylactoid reactions to acetylcysteine.

ADVERSE REACTION Nausea, vomiting, dizziness, flushing, stomach upset, cough, or increased sweating may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor or pharmacist promptly.
