of the most important inventions without it, we cant use pants or accesories like bags, shoes or even jewerly

made several important advances in the development of the zipper between 1906 and 1914. It was based on previous work of other engineers, such as Elias Howe, Max Wolff, and Whitcomb Judson. Without him there would be no zippers as they are today.

The Goodrich Corporation coined the name Zipper in 1923, and used the invention in the snuff bags and boots. The closure eclair became popular for children's clothing and men's pants in the 1920 and 1930.
