Introduction

This guide presents a brief instruction for the Users of the ICC Concrete Test Result Analyzer Windows application and Database system. The application provides an easy way to keep records, search out the details & analyze the results of concrete cubical strengths. Analyze will be done according to the conformity criteria recommended in BSEN 206 1:2000. The result of this application will be helpful to identify the compliance of the concrete, optimize the mix design, identify the better sources of concrete and/or cement, conformity of the batching plant, etc...

Setup the Application

Before setup the application it must conform following Application Requirements. 1. Windows XP or earlier version 2. Microsoft Office 2003 or earlier version including Microsoft Office Access. 3. .NET Framework 2.0 (provided with the application) To setup the application 1. Copy the ConcreteTestResultAnalyzer folder in to C:\ 2. Copy the shortcuts in the Shortcut folder on to the desktop. Now you can reach the database through the shortcut application through the shortcut . &

Add Data to the Database


to access the Database.

1. Double click the shortcut

Double Click on the required table to open

Combo Box Shows the row data included in the related table (in this case it shows the row data in ElementType table.

2. First fill the tables Age, CementSource, ConcreteSource, ElementType & Grade according to the site requirements. 3. Then add the concrete cube test result records to the table TestCubeData.

NOTE: Never edit the Table names & Column names. The row value of table Age must be a number (e.g. 7, 28, etc.) The row value of table Grade must be a number (e.g. 15, 20, 25, etc.) Element Type can be taken as Slab, Column, Staircase, etc. or any other according to the requirement. The field ID in every table is a auto generated number and it cannot be changed.

Search Data

Then it will list down the search result on DataGridView-1. Mean Strength, Standard Deviation, Characteristic Strength & the Failure Percentage will result for the corresponding Search result. button to view the records of failed test results.

Analyze Data

1. Click on the button to analyze the search result on DataGridView-1 as per BSEN 206 1:2000.

2. Criteria 1 indicates the test cubes which result the strength lower than (fck-4). 3. Criteria 2 indicate the average of and group three consecutive test result has to be greater than (fck+4).
