A Message from Division Head, Kelly Yedid:

This week Camp Ora kicked into full gear with nonstop action! Monday I went surfing with the senior & TNT girls & the waves were much wilder than when I took the boys! Way to go Rebecca Greenstein & Jaclyn Tebele who were the surfers of the day (Dee Dee Shamah was in a special back flipping category of her own). Tuesday I had the pleasure of escorting our 1st-4th graders to Keansburg where they enjoyed the bucket, lazy river & many slides. Wednesday and Thursday Ikey & I accompanied the seniors, TNT and the worlds greatest CITs ever to Lake George. We enjoyed The Great Escape Theme Park, BBQ by the rolling Rabbi J, Waterslide World, night swimming & a very late night (girls!!!) Most camps would rest after a week like that but not Ora! Heshy is surprising the kids today with laser water tag & slides and a foam pit right in our camp! We can't wait!! Can't wait for next week! Love Kel

We had a terrific overnight this week at Lake George where we went to Six Flags Great Escape Park and to Waterslide World! We had a blast at the park! We went on scary rides, water rides and played games! When we got to the hotel we split up the rooms and went straight to night swimming where each girl showed off their hand stands and back flips we even went in the Jacuzzi! When we went to the water park the next day the girls were free to do as they pleased going on all the rides and slides and floating in the lazy river! This was the first big trip of many and I can't wait to enjoy the rest of the summer with the GM Girls! Love you girls!!! Danielle Gindi & Jacqueline Oved

A Message from Division Head Evan Bailey:

This week in Camp Ora we went on an overnight to Lake George. When we first got there we went to Six Flags Great Escape. The park was great we went on so many roller coasters. When we got hot we were able to just walk right over to the water park side of it and go on slides and wait under the bucket! After the park we had a beautiful BBQ alongside the great Lake George. While we got Ikey Yedid and Rabbi J manning the grill we got the kids playing taps. Once we got to the hotel we were able to go night swimming and then we finally got some rest. The next day it couldn't be any easier to get to the water park all we had to do was cross the street! The park was great! The wave pool, lazy river and slides were very refreshing. We really all had the best time. Now we're on the way back and I'm writing this and reminiscing on the great trip we had. I can't wait for more. Thanks to Kelly for making it a great trip! Love, Evan

A Message from Division Heads, Dina Kraiem & Liba Rosenbaum: Another amazing week at Camp Ora! We started off the week with a visit from the petting zoo! The kids were able to pet, brush, and feed the animals! It was the most gorgeous dayand we all enjoyed so much! On Tuesday, we had a day full of sports, swim, and art. We ended off the day with a string hunt. The kids ran around the playground collecting string and then stuck them on a picture of a donkey! Congrats to the Mischievous Monkeys for creating the largest tail! Our five year olds also enjoyed their surprise treat- SLURPEES! On Wednesday, the FUN BUS came to camp! The kids got so excited when they saw the green bus waiting for them! They stretched, tumbled, and had an activity full of gymnastics on the bus! In baking they baked animal cookies and in art they painted paddles! Our trip to R Bounce on Thursday was so much fun! The kids couldnt get enough of all the climbing, jumping, sliding, and games! On Friday, sports with Ikey was awesome! Ikey & Aaron are instructing the kids to become real athletes! Have a restful weekend- and looking forward to more action Monday! Stay tuned! xoxo, Dina & Liba P.S. Check us out on Instagram @campora2012

This week I had the privilege to accompany the boys and girls to Lake George. I have never been there and was quite impressed. The lake is magnificent. The weather could not have been better. The bus ride was actually a lot of fun. We spent the first day at Six Flags Great Escape. Everyone had a good time. We then had a delicious BBQ by the lake...then back to the hotel for night swimming. I was so proud, everyone behaved beautifully. The next day was spent at a water park right across the street from the hotel. Im looking forward to more great times. Lov ya all! ~Ike
