When I was 18 years old, if anyone wouldve told me that 20 something years later Id be back working at camp again, Idve laughed out loud. Im a wife and mother of 3 teenage children still running around wearing camp T-shirt, belt bag and carrying a clipboard Cmon, really, how did I get here? But honestly, there is simply no other place Id rather be and Im having the time of my life! Suddenly I find myself working side by side with my husband Ike, my two new BFFs Heshy and Rabbi J, and a truly incomparable staff of counselors. The warm and wonderful children, nonstop action, amazing trips and complete craziness helps keep me young at heart and keeps reminding me of whats truly important in life. What can I say, Im home again! So what exactly is my job here? After many months of our fabulous team registering a record number of campers this year, Ive finally settled into the role of Special Events Coordinator, Schedule Maker, Division Head of Grades 5-8, text message updater. Although its only been 3 days so far, I couldnt ask for a better crew than my fellow division heads Morris Dweck, Sara Shabot, Danny Zirdok, and Dina Kraiem and the aways realizable office staff. With an all star line up of new (and old) instructors, so far weve enjoyed Dance with Joyce Franco and Raquel Massry, Scrapbook with Leslie Kassin, Art with Malky and awesome basketball tips and drills with Ike. There are many more suprises to come- it only gets better and better from here on in! Looking forward to a truly memorable summer!! XOXO Kelly Yedid

With much gratitude and Thanks to Hashem, Camp ORA is filled to capacity for the 2011 Camp season. We are thrilled and ecstatic to have the dynamic couple Ike and Kelly Yedid join us this summer. They add creativity, professionalism and glitz in every way. We also would like to welcome our junior division head Sarah Shabbat. With her spunk, smarts, and enthusiasm, she is already a big hit at Camp ORA. The TNT travel camp is having the times of their lives, thanks to their superb division head Morris Dweck. We would also like to welcome Danny Zardouk who adds class, expertise and know how to our Teens N Travel group. Last but not least we cant say enough about our phenomenal Tiny Tot Director Dina Kraiem. I am always amazed how she keeps all the children happy. May Hashem bless us all with a happy healthy and safe summer. Shabbat Shalom, Rabbi J and Heshy

A Message from Division Head, Sarah Shabot: Wow! Summer is finally here and Im so excited to be the Junior Division Head this summer! (Grades 1-4) Weve only had three days of camp so far but we already did so many fun and exciting things together. The 1st and 2nd grade girls had a blast on the waterslide, the petting zoo, and playing red rover! 3rd and 4th grade girls loved scrapbooking, dance with Raquel, and of course, swim! 1st grade boys had the best time in the game room and making funky fuzzy pens in Art! 2nd and 3rd grade boys absolutely loved playing soccer and even got double ices

Wow! The first few days of camp were amazing! There are so many new improvements this year at Camp Ora: Air Conditioning blasting in the Gym, brand new NBA B-Ball courts indoor and out, and professional Baseball and soccer fields which just enhances the entire sports experience at ORA. Ive seen every group in just 3 days and the campers enthusiasm and willingness to learn is very exciting to me. I must tell you the girls really have a thirst to learn the skills needed to play basketball and their progress in just a few short sessions is amazing. I look forward to working with each and every one of the campers, and all of us here at Ora appreciate the opportunity you have given us to enrich your childrens lives. Sports Sports at Camp Ora are off to a great start. With brand new sporting equipment ranging from basketball hoops to soccer goals, to baseball diamonds, everything is setup for a successful season of sports. In this first short week of camp the kids were introduced to some of their favorite camp games, such as BBK, 4-square,

The girls all came to dance so excited showing me how well they dance and gave a lot of umf and energy when dancing. We had a lot of fun stretching, dancing, and playing dance games. Im so excited and looking forward to dance with all of you the reset of the summer and G-d willing continue to make great dances. Love, Dance Teacher Raquel Massry Joyce Loves Camp! Ive been excited for camp all year. When the first day of camp came, I was really excited because this is my first time in this camp and all my old friends were coming, I was psyched! From the second I walked in, there were hundreds of people excited and ready to start their day. When my day started my whole GN had a great time of volleyball, dodgeball art and more!I am really looking forward to the rest of the summer because theres many trips and adventures were going to do. Joyce Kraiem, GN GK2 The first week of camp was so exciting. GK2 was the winning group to win free sodas because we sang the loudest! We also made beautiful cool pens in art that we decorated to look like people and animals. Leslie was a natural in dance and Estelle, a pro-swimmer. We all made new

friends and cant wait for whats to come next week! Sharen Khaski, GK2

A Message from Division Head, Morris Dweck: Even though the first week of camp was only three days it was packed with fun. We got to visit two theme parks and played some great sports games on the beach. It was great getting to meet all the new ninth grade campers and we look forward to getting to know them personally over the course of the summer. Our group is relatively diverse this summer but most of the campers are spreading their wings and getting to know kids from other schools. We have a huge group in TNT and we know that will translate into some awesome special activities. Driving from Deal to Great Adventures and then all the way to Pennsylvania, we never had a dull moment and we are looking forward to all the fun that awaits us next week at Camp Ora.

Sign up for after camp leagues in the office, baseball for boys and basketball for girls. Reminder:
Don't forget that we will be coming home late from Lake Compounce Wednesday night.
