A Message from Division Head, Kelly Yedid:

Is it only week two of camp? Looking around one would think that everyone knew each other for years; the friendships, the bonding & that uncanny Ora spirit- if this is just week 2 I cant imagine whats to come! We kicked off the week with Surfing for our boys which was in one wordAmazing! The instructors were so patient with the children, that they had them surfing within one hour- I cant wait to see how our girls do next week! Great Adventure on Tuesday with our older divisions was the perfect day! On Thursday we cooled off from the heat in our Gamin Ride bus. We tie dyed, enjoyed a challenging musical chairs competition, danced with the adorable Raquel Saadia & brought the sports up to a whole new level thanks to Ikey & Aaron! Groups busily prepared banners, songs & presentations for todays Bunk War. Summer 2012 is off to an incredible start- cant wait to see what happens next! xoxo, Kelly

The first week of camp was off to a great start! It was so nice meeting all of the campers and getting to know them. We did so many fun activities this week such as: swimming, tie dying shirts, playing belts, basketball with Aaron and last but not least going to Fun Time America! We all had so much fun going on The Himalaya and bumper cars there. We also won so many tickets from the games that we were able to get awesome prizes! This week we have bunk wars and we are The GL Leftovers since we love every food we couldn't just decide on one. We can't wait to show the rest of the camp what were made of and win bunk wars! Its been another fun packed week for the first graders at Camp Ora! This week, the campers enjoyed an array of activities: from sport lessons and games with Aaron Shasha to exciting arts & crafts to gamin ride, the counselors could barely keep up! Of all the fun activities, though, the campers most enjoyed the outdoor waterslide, which cooled them off during this weeks heat wave. Another popular activity is swimming, where the campers get swimming tips and lessons from our skilled lifeguards while also cooling off and having fun. Although, at the start, many of the campers were anxious about playing sports because they worried that they didnt know how to play, most of the campers learned the rules of the game under the able supervision and direction of Aaron Shasha and Ikey Yedid, our

This week in TNT was, as always, amazing! We started off our week in camp playing volleyball, learning new dance moves with Joyce and the unforgettable dodge ball game- girls vs. boys! On Tuesday we joined the rest of the Senior Division in Great Adventure. We could not believe how many campers braved the Kingda Ka, I think the other kids in camp could hear them screeching!! Thursday was an in camp day and on Friday we went to Point Pleasant where we toured the boardwalk and played arcades. Next weeks trips include the overnight to Lake George and bowling on Friday! Rest up this weekend because youll need all of your energy! Id also like to thank all our amazing CITs that work so hard and make camp so amazing for all our other campers! We could not do it without you all!! Love, Danny & Evan

A Message from Division Heads, Danny Ash & Evan Bailey:

Jacqueline Rabih won soda for a week for for winning musical she chairs. Instead of keeping the winnings herself decided to share it with her friends by giving a soda to the girls in her bunk for a day. We are so proud of her!
