LIMITED PRODUCT WARRANTY-10 YEAR PERAIR, PRPLACE OR FEFUND POLICY

Giga Solar Co., Ltd., Xingan offers a 10-year product guarantee that its solar modules have no material aw or technological defect when properly installed and used under normal conditions. If modules are found to be defective as per the guarantee clause they will be repaired, replaced or refunded during the rst 10 years of the purchase date. As per the product warranty statement this warranty period is limited to materials and/or defects found to be present within 10 years of purchase. The above mentioned product limited warranty clause does not apply to limited power output which is covered in the hereinafter mentioned clause 2 (limited power output warranty)

POWER OUTPUT WARRANTY-LIMITED COMPENSATION

A: 10 years For solar modules (not including inverter/converter) GIGA Solar guarantees that the minimum peak power output within the rst 10-year period of the sales date will not fall below 90%. If, due to quality problems, solar modules output power falls below 90% of minimum peak power within this 10-yearperiod GIGA Solar will replace module or provide a refund minus 10% depreciation of purchase price for each year since purchase. B: 25 years For solar modules (not including inverter/converter) GIGA Solar guarantees that the minimum peak power output within the rst 25-year period of the sales date will not fall below 80%. If, due to quality problems, solar modules output power falls below 80% of minimum peak power within this 25-yearperiod GIGA Solar will replace module or provide a refund minus 10% depreciation of purchase price for each year since purchase. Herein above two clauses of compensation for peak power output is single selectable and repellant.

EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS

A: Any claims should be within the warranty period. B: Warranties are limited and do not apply to modules that are judged by GIGA Solar to be subjected to:
a. Inappropriate usage, incorrect usage, misuse, neglect or accident damage. b. Modied, inappropriate installment or usage c. Uncompliant to GIGA Solars installation and maintenance recommendations. d. Repaired by unqualied or unauthorized GIGA technician. e. Acts of Nature, thunder, water, ood, re, accidental damage or other events beyond GIGA Solars control.

C: Limited warranty does not include delivery charges of replacement or re-delivery charges for repairing and replacing, solar module installation charges, removal charges and reset charges. D: If model number or series number of solar modules are changed, modied, removed or unidentiable guarantee claims will not be supported.

LIMITED WARRANTY EXECUTION

If a customer believes an application meets the conditions under the limited warranty, he or she should contact their local, or any distributor, authorized by GIGA Solar or inform Giga Solar Co, Ltd. Xingan directly in writing with supporting evidence of purchase. If the claim meets the limited warranty conditions a local distributor or authorized distributor may suggest a possible solution regarding the said claim. If the customer requires further assistance, he or she is invited to supply GIGA with a more specic description of the claim in writing. The customer or distributor should not return or remove the modules before getting written authorization from GIGA Solar.

CONFLICTS

Any form or means of conict that relate to this limited warranty should be presented within 1 year of the original claim or event taking place.

OTHERS

The repair, replacement or supply of solar modules will not result in a new warranty nor extend the original warranty period. Any replaced modules become the property of GIGA Solar and if GIGA Solar has ceased manufacturing the model or type of module, GIGA Solar retains the right to send another appropriate, new model or type of module (including different size, color, shape and/or power)

FORCE MAJEURE

Under the above mentioned conditions, GIGA Solar would not execute or delay to execute any clause, including responsibility for this limited warranty due to: force majeure, war, riot, strike, insufcient or inappropriate labor force, materials, metal module, production capacity, technical or production failure or any other unpredictable event out of its control, including and not limited by any technical or physical event or condition when producing or applying.
