The filmed I not stupid too was released on January 26, 2006.The director of this film was Jack Neo and he was one of the main characters in this film. This film was awarded with the Best Asian Film. The story was about the lives, struggles and adventures of three Singaporean youths 15-year-old Tom, his 8-year-old brother Jerry and their 15year-old friend Chengcai who have a strained relationship with their parents. the lives of Tom Yeo, his younger brother Jerry and their friend Lim Chengcai.15-year-old Tom is technologically inclined and a talented blogger, while 8-year-old Jerry enjoys the performing arts and has the lead role in his school concert. Mr. and Mrs. Yeo's and busy schedules give them little time to spend with their children, leading to a strained relationship. With his mother absent, Chengcai was raised by his ex-convict father, whose fighting skills he inherited. During a school check for mobile phones, Tom is caught with a pornographic VCD. As his teacher confiscates it, Chengcai makes a cheeky remark that provokes the teacher into slapping him, leading to an exchange that escalates into a massive scuffle. The principal decides to expel Chengcai, while Tom receives a public caning for his part in the scuffle. Tom and Chengcai join a local street gang; as their initiation, they are forced to shoplift an iPod. However, they are caught by two conmen with connections to the street gang posing as police detectives, who demand that they pay the fine $2000 within two days or be arrested.so to find a money to pay them they tried to rob an old lady of her necklace, but the regret it and tried to return it. A struggle occurs, and Chengcai bumps into several gangsters. The time when Jerry scolded for what he done in the school he tell that why he do it because he want a time for his parents so they realize that they dont have time for their children. The time when Tom and Chengaci was beaten by the several people or gangsters the phone of Tom fall then accidentally call his father when his father saw him was beaten by the people or gangsters the father were rush going to his son and help him so Tom feels love for their parents then the family Yeo lives happily. Later, the gangsters whom Chengcai bumped into earlier beat him up. Mr. Lim, who happens to be nearby, tries to protect his son, but suffers head trauma after being pushed down the stairs. He is taken to a hospital, critically injured. On his deathbed, Mr. Lim tells Chengcai that he loves him and that he should pursue his talent for fighting. Witnessing this scene, the principal is touched and allows Chengcai to return to school. The boy eventually becomes an internationally recognized martial artist.

The message or the theme of this film is to explore the issue of poor parent-child communication. The theme manifested when Jerry used paper to write what he want to say and put it on the refrigerator.

This film was so good. It has changed me and that I must communicate to others. I realized that if we dont communicate something will bad happen Just like in the movie.

I will recommend it to my neighborhood because his parent is the same with the parents of Tom and Jerry they are busy at work. This is good for the people who are not communicating.
