Just 3 months old he's as tall as a supermodel! He's so obedient and so easy to train. Heaven help you if you aren't up by 8 to feed you him in the morning - he WILL tackle and kiss-attack you until you're out the bed! Both arms around your neck and so many kisses you can hardly catch a breath! And he waits patiently until 8, but the second he hears the alarm go off, he won't wait another second. He's 100% house trained. Knows to sit for his food without being told. He has built-in springs and bounces around like a gummy bear when he's excited. Brilliant with kids, cats and other dogs. You honestly couldn't ask for more in a dog. Loves to lie in your arms and nap with you on the couch. Loves pottering around in the garden and plays tirelessly with my other dog never biting too hard! He's an expert at the pet fishing app on the ipad. He is the most wonderful companion! You honestly couldn't find a better dog!

She had been burnt with boiling water. She also had biliary and Ehrlichia. On day 1, she was very shy and timid and just wanted to bury her head and nose in ur arm. But once she had healed she has become an active an adventurous little girl who loves to run and play. She is too cute and finds rocks and hooves in the garden and brings them to the couch like her little pot of treasures. She is now incredibly playful and loving and great with people and dogs. A wonderful addition to any home.

He is a BIG baby He is as scared as he is big. The lady at the vet gave him the nick name of Bang pants. He just loves to sleep. During the cold winter mornings he would sleep late with his foster mommys old four legged baby. He loves sleeping on the bed, but he doesnt want to be covered. He is playful, but also has a moderate activity level, like his brother Danny. Given the opportunity, he will sleep with his human on the couch. He gets on very well with other dogs and humans. He also chases cats, but shares his bed with the cat at night. Because he is a scared doggy, his forever home must please protect him from things like fireworks and other bigger dogs that are or seem aggressive. He is a big bundle of love .

He is very timid and a real little gentleman. He can be naughty when he is in the company of other doggies that are naughty. His activity levels are moderate. He loves to sleep on the bed and as close as possible to his human companion. He usually stand against your legs when you are sitting and look deep into your eye, asking to be cuddled. Once you start to cuddle him, you are not allowed to stop. He gets on well with all humans and other dogs. He loves to chase the cat, but at night, the cat is a welcome bed mate. He just chase cats, he doesnt bite them. I suppose, he wont know what to do with the cat should he be lucky enough to catch him.

Her and her brother Charlie would love to find a home together. They are really good dogs and a little adventurous too. They really love each other.

She was homeless, emaciated, and the ppl in the township were throwing stones at her and trying to kill her because she was eating their chickens to survive! She was very shy and timid at first but now with a few weeks of love has almost reverted to a puppy like state again. She loves playing with her ball. She has a very soft and gentle nature. Must be close to people at all times. Excellent with dogs, children, cats just not birds.

She thrives with a bit of attention, even if it only means a quick pat on the head. She was very timid, scared of any sudden movement, noise, a person's feet (guess she was kicked at some stage) or for something to be put around her neck. Now however, she is beautiful and seems almost not to be scared of anything! Carry loves stealing 'n lick from a cold drink glass or coffee mug but when caught out immediately knows she was naughty. She loves sleeping with a soft toy, but if she has a friend to cuddle up against, the toy will probably sleep outside the bed. She loves having a friend around to play with (I think any dog about her size or smaller) and does not like being alone. She is a soft bundle of energy and love!

She had been hit by a car in a township and left untreated. When PETS Witbank went to do steris in the township they were notified about her injury and saw her limping along in pain and immediately took her in. The Vet found a nasty fracture in her hip and she had an intense operation to correct it. She is healing well in foster care and is getting happier by the day. She is a true survivor and would like a home who will treat her as the amazing dog she is.

He is really a joy! So sweet and gentle. No aggression at all, even when a dog snaps at him. He doesn't have any food issues - no growling or possessiveness even though you can see he really wants his meal. He seems surprised every time he passes a water bowl. He drinks water every time he sees a bowl - as if he is worried that the water will disappear. He is house trained and is completely fascinated by the cats. He talks all the time! It is sooooo cute! He has a very worried expression on his face and got 1 floppy ear - it just refuses to stand up right. His left hind leg does give him problems however as it was broken in the past. He is also very, very playful! He likes to lie close to us and always keeps in his eyesight. He is very social and will get along with other dogs and maybe cats

However, she has done a 180 degree turnaround from the shy little thing when we first got her. She is full of energy- literally bounces with joy when her foster mom comes home. She is getting along with my two dogs, especially my dobermann- she follows him everywhere and often sneaks in to cuddle with him! Except for liking to investigate trash, she is very well-behaved in the house, but she certainly loves to explore outside too. Her burn doesn't seem to slow her down at all. She ignores the wound and doesn't mind the cream I put on it. And it certainly doesn't keep her from running and playing. She is incredibly loving and I think she just loves being in a family!

She is a real peoples person and she gets along with all dogs (big and small) and has a very positive impact on them. She is also a fast learner, she already listens

She has had a rough start in life, her owner was not nice to her and threatened to kill her if we did not take her in. She needs a forever owner who has the patience to gain her trust and that will love her forever- because thats exactly what she deserves. She is one special lady

Gender: Female DOB: 3 Years Breed: Cross Vaccinated: Yes Sterilised: Yes Dewormed: Yes Size when grown: Large General Info: Nakita was rescued some good Samaritans found a man on a bicycle dragging her with cable around her neck. He then got off his bicycle and proceeded to kick her senseless. The cops were called as well as the SPCA and PETS. The man in turn received a beating of his life :-) However, not before he could do some serious damage to this poor defenseless girl. She received urgent veterinary care and had to have an emergency hysterectomy because her insides were so badly damaged. Her whole abdomen and stomach was bruised and infected. Her teeth were also broken from him kicking her. A case has been laid with the SPCA. Not only physically hurt but she is emotionally broken and has a tough time trusting people. However, she is a VERY loving girl and is even playing now with the other foster dogs. She is slowly getting used to people and will allow you to touch her if you do so slowly. She will make a wonderful addition to any home but needs a home that will be kind and patient with her and that has other dogs she can bond and play with.

ADOPTION INFORMATION
NB!! Please keep in mind, when wanting to adopt very young puppies and kittens that they still need to eat three to four times a day so they cannot be left alone for an entire work day. They will need a babysitter at first, so please ensure that this is sorted out before adopting.

PETS POLICY
All PETS puppies and kittens are being fostered by different families, as PETS believes in a FREE RANGE policy where the puppies and dogs are integrated with families, other dogs, cats and kids immediately to help them cope and recover. This also helps them to adjust to normal life, so when they are adopted they are not Cage Babies. All our animals that we rescue share our beds with us as well as our own pets lifestyles. So they are all healthy and well adjusted.
