A free teen driver safety event on Oct. 6 will feature classic cars, iPad giveaways, nationallyknown speakers and Oklahoma City Thunder entertainers the Thunder Girls and Rumble. Sponsored by the Oklahoma City Thunder and AAA Oklahoma, the "Hot Cars & Hot Topics" event will take place in the Freede Wellness Center at Oklahoma City University from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 6. There is no charge and pre-registration is not required. Members of classic auto clubs will have their "hot cars" there, concessions will be available, the Thunder Girls will perform and Rumble will put on a show of high-flying trampoline dunks on the Freede Wellness Center's basketball court. Drawings will be conducted for iPads and Thunder prize packages plus there will be lots of free giveaways.
