PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Anabond 618E is a single component dimethacrylate ester based anaerobic adhesive systems, specially designed for flange sealing on rigid flanges such as transmissions, cast metal housings etc. Like any other anaerobic adhesives, this product also gets cured in the absence of air when confined between two closely fitting metal surfaces and prevents leakage of fluids or gases by forming impervious barriers. This product is available in the form of high viscous paste, conveniently packed in PP tubes. The consistency of this material is well suited for applications where a liquid anaerobic adhesive may be too fluid to remain on a part. This gasket sealant eliminates the need for very smooth surface & is far superior to conventional gaskets such as asbestos, cork etc., The cured sealant offers excellent resistance to fuels, solvents and lubricants. It also provides resistance to low pressures immediately after application & assembly of flanges. This product withstand heavy vibration, shock resist & impact load. Typically used as a form-in-place gasket on rigid flanged connections, e.g. gearbox and engine casings, etc.

METHOD OF USE
Clean mating components thoroughly & apply bead of sealant one side of the male flange surface. Mate the female flange and clamp & allow it to cure. TYPICAL PROPERTIES
