Design and Implementation of Spy Robot

Abstract

The Spy Robot is a mobile device that acts as a motion controlled video camera which can serve the purpose of a spy, a security guard as well. It is basically a moving platform upon which a camera is fixed. It can be used to transmit the video signals of areas where human reach is difficult. The main aim of the project is to detect an object with the help of a camera. Now-a-days spying the enemies is very difficult for the soldiers because it is life risky process. So for that we have to use the present technology in spying enemies without loss of soldiers lives. The project is basically used to detect an object by using a wireless robot with a camera. This project uses camera as image sensing device. The video from camera is taken by the PC through wireless communication. The camera can be converted which into an IR camera by removing the IR filter, which has a wide range of applications such as detecting the object in darkness with the help of IR illumination. The AV camera is mounted on the wireless robot. The movement of robot is controlled through PC. The video sent by the AV camera is can be viewed on the monitor. The video sent by the AV camera is sampled and the sampled image is processed to detect an object. The entire robot is constructed using the Microcontroller, RF t r a n s mi t t e r a n d r e c e i v e r , AV c a me r a , DC mo t o r s , e n c o d e r d e c o d e r p a i r . S o f t wa r e p r o g r a m mi n g f o r o b j e c t d e t e c t i o n i s d o n e i n M a t l a b , w h i l e microcontroller programming and is done in Keil.
