We are hosting Presentation Team tryouts on November 27, 4:30-6:30, in the Music building, MU 109. The Presentation Team provides a valuable opportunity to develop and fine tune important public speaking skills. The team competes at the Regional competition in front of CEOs who serve as judges for the competition. Our KSU team has a history of success at these competitions, having won Regionals many times. WHAT IS A CO-OP? It is a paid work experience in your field for a minimum of two semesters with the same employer.

What are the basic requirements? How many credits can I earn with a Co-op*? Can I use my current position? What type of credit will I receive?

2.5 GPA + 30 credits 1-3, 1 credit for every 10 hours of work Yes, if you started it within 2 semesters or if youve received a promotion or significant new duties Business Elective credits**

* IB majors do not have Co-ops **IS/ISA majors seeking the BS degree will receive free elective credits

INTERNSHIP
WHAT IS AN INTERNSHIP? It is a paid or unpaid work experience that is 80% major-related typically lasting for one semester.
