WHAT FILM(S) ARE COMPARABLE The films that are TO YOUR PRODUCTION THAT YOU comparable to our production HAVE RESEARCHED: the most are James Bond films Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace, also Taken and The Silence of the Lambs. There are many reasons why the above films have inspired our production, mostly because Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace features a similar storyline, whilst Taken and The Silence of the Lambs are the same genre and both have the same amount of action and tension that wed want to feature. Also all films feature an authority figure in the lead role. WHAT IS THE RATIONALE BEHIND The rationale for our THIS PRODUCTION: production is to attract, entertain and keep focused viewers. We will do this by including stereotypical thriller film aspects such as close-ups, fast pacing and constant twists. WHAT REPRESENTATIONS WILL BE Well be including a few OPERATING IN YOUR FINAL representation/stereotypes PRODUCTION: such as bad-ass protagonist ARE THESE JUSTIFIED: and a strong-headed, careful boss. This is to make sure we dont alienate audiences, because weve layered characters too much or giving them something completely unfamiliar. Were also going down a stereotypical root by including an intimidating, tall and strong henchman. HOW WILL YOU TEST IF THE To see if our product is PRODUCT IS SUCCESFUL: successful, we will be sure HOW WILL YOU CHECK THAT IT to get together our ideal ACCOMPLISHES THE INTENDED target audience and see if EFFECT: that the product falls into their expectations. Well film their reactions and ask

them to fill out various forms to know what areas we went wrong in, if we did. If it doesnt satisfy our audience well obviously conduct reshoots or script changes. WHAT GENERAL CODES AND The main codes that we will CONVINCTIONS WILL BE be using are locationthe OPERATING IN YOUR TEXT: shed will set the scene perfectly, as a gritty action-thriller. Also, the sophisticated attire of our protagonist will clash against the casual attire of our antagonist. The lighting will be dark to suit the mood and to establish the scene more. ARE THERE ANY HIDDEN Theres only really one MESSAGES INCORPORATED WITHIN hidden message that weve THE TEXT: subtly hidden in our product. The message is Dont trust. This is because the protagonist is betrayed at the beginning and is on a journey to seek revenge. IDENTIFY AND RECOURSE We depend on our actors and CONSTRAINTS(TIME,MONEY, crew turning up on time and EQUIPMENT-AND-HUMAN in good condition so theyll RESOURCES) THAT MAY AFFECT be able to work to the top YOUR PRODUCTION AND HOPES of their abilities. We also FOR YOUR PRODUCT. are solely dependent on the equipment being in working condition. Another vital element is time and weather, itll seriously affect our production if we dont get enough filmed, it gets dark too early or if the weather is bad.
