All U of R students can take advantage of Luthers diverse courses. By taking a Luther course, you will: experience our small class sizes take courses from dynamic professors hoose from the 60 courses in 13 c subjects that we offer every semester Our course offerings include some special programming. Are you planning to study natural sciences at U of R? Try our English-Science Learning Community. We have grouped together your first-year biology, chemistry and English courses for easy registration and designed your English courses with a science focus in mind. By enrolling in this learning community, youll get to know other students with similar interests and goals. Are you interested in global issues? In Interdisciplinary Studies, you and your classmates will explore the many dimensions of global citizenship through teaching approaches that integrate classroom and service learning.

The library is central to teaching and learning at Luther. This bright, comfortable space houses a unique collection of books, journals, reference materials and electronic resources available to all U of R students, as well as computers, printers and photocopy machines. The library is a favourite spot for students looking for a quiet and convenient place to study, or for those needing research assistance from a knowledgeable member of the library staff. At Luther, we believe that becoming involved is part of the student experience. Thats why we offer you many ways to plug in, explore your interests, and have fun. Here are some examples: he Luther University Students T Association (LUSA) organises dances, cabarets and other social activities. LUSA also represents student interests on many Luther and U of R committees, which deal with matters ranging from student life to Luthers long-range planning. uther hosts many events on L campussuch as fair trade fairs and various fundraising events designed to promote social awareness and student engagement in issues important in the world today.

he chaplaincy program organises T activities to explore matters of faith, ethics and social justice. Luthers chaplain, together with student peer chaplains, offers weekly worship services as well as personal spiritual guidance. uther offers you many opportunities L to hear renowned speakers address important topics. The annual Luther Lecture, co-sponsored Forward Together Lecture, and Talking Fresh Festival of Writers and Writing are three examples.
