Boban Stojanovi

Professor Boban Stojanovi is a full professor at

the Faculty of Economics in Ni. He teaches
Theory and Policy of Prices and Macroeconomics
at the undergraduate level and Microeconomic
Models at the graduate-Masters level. He is also
appointed to teach Contemporary Microeconomic
Analysis at the doctoral level. Professor
Stojanovi lectured on Theory of Prices and
Theory of Production at the Faculty of Economics
in Belgrade and at the University of the Jugoslav
Army. He also taught at the Kazakh National
University Almaty, Kasakhstan (Master Studies),
Summer schools at University Sophia Antipolis,
Nice, France and University Freiberg, Germany. In
scope of teaching activities he realized the
Students Project Active Consumers, financed by
EU
He earned his Masters degree and doctorate
degree from the Faculty of Economics in Belgrade
in 1987 and 1993, respectively.
He has been the advisor on Masters theses and
doctoral dissertations.as well as member of
Masters and PhD committees.
He is a member of the editorial boards of the
Journal of Business and Economics, Florida, USA
andPanoeconomicus, Novi Sad, Serbia. He has
completed professional development abroad
(University
of
Bochum,
Frankfurt,
Gratz,
Sarbikren).Within the IVP program he visited a
number of universities in the US. He is the
founder and first director of the Center for
Multidisciplinary Studies and Scientific Research
at the University of Ni. Professor Stojanovi
served as Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Economics
in Ni, a member of the Accreditation Commission
and a referee for institutions and study programs
that are accredited in higher education. He has
been actively participating in the reform of the
University and in TEMPUS projects among other.
He is President of the Ni Association of
Economists, a member on the Executive
Committee and presidential board of the Serbian
Association of Economists. He is active in the
program
of
the
European
Agency
for
Reconstruction. Professor Stojanovi is a Member

of the National Councel for Consumer Protection.

He is a Member of Serbian Scientific Society of
Economists. He has been actively participating in
the implementation of projects funded by the
Ministry of Science. In addition, he is a mentor on
many projects supported by the Institute for
International Education from the US and
1000 young leaders. He has participated in many
eminent meetings in the country and abroad.
His field of interest includes microeconomics,
monopoles, the EU market and competition
protection. Professor Boban Stojanovi has
published six books and more than 50 scientific
and professional papers in leading journals:
