Recognition lead to Isolation

Isolation is the separation from other whether it is emotionally or physically. This hold true in the novel Frankenstein, by Mary Shelly. This story is about a man who is consumed by the desire to discover the secret of life and, after several years of research, becomes convinced that he has found it. Throughout the novel, the theme isolation is carried on. There are 3 mained charter named; Victor, Robert, and the creature who desired recognition which eventually lead to isolation. One of the characters that seem to desired recognition is Robert Walton. I shall satiate my adherent curiosity with the sight of a part foot of man. This quote demonstrates how Robert wants to discover something extraordinary. But eventually Robert only see the glorifying part of the discoverment, his eye are shut down from the reality. Robert doesn't realize that there are consequence that come with acknowledgment eventually this lead him to isolation.Even more this lead to Robert saying I have no friend Margaret .to sustain me in dejection. This mimics how Robert wants to be recognized, but the bad part is that he has to leave his family and friend just to have the satisfaction of a discoverment. But it is not always the best thing if you are so far way that you cant even share your happiness with someone. In this case Robert want a friend since he so isolated from his family.So his disseverment is worthless. In addition, Victor is also a character that desired recognition. In the novel Victor brought isolation upon himself. Victor was deprived of rest and health and had worked hard for nearly two year. While Victor isolated himself in his chamber creating the creature, he deprived himself from his family just to get recognition. And even though he was doing it to help society he missed out a lot on his family. But his family and friend never stopped loving him,

even though he rarely responded to the letter they sent him. While isolated in his chamber, Victor ignored his father wishes; I know that while you are pleased with yourself you you will think about us with affection,.... from you Victor ignored his father wishes and isolated himself from his family in other word, wanting recognition is not alway the best solution. Even more Victor says, could tear my thought from my employment.Overall this proved how sometime wanting recognition can lead to isolation. In this case, the desired to be recognized is not alway a path to go toward because in Victor experience his recognition ended up backfiring him. Subsequently, the last charter that seem to want to be accepted not in the formed of Victor or Robert. but his recognition was more like to be part or formed a family. Unlike Victor or Robert, the creature was forced to live in isolation from society. Since nobody could with take the breathless horror presented by the creature appearance, this made it impossible for the creature to have any hope in socializing with any human.This eventually lead to the creature isolation.The creature says, i possessed no money, no friend, no kind of property.... reflection inflicted upon me. This demonstrate how Victor recognition lead to the creature isolation. Since society didnt accept him. The creature need for attention led him to the murder of the people closest to Victor. the creature thols Victor that he will revenge my injuries if i cannot inspired love, I will cause fear:...hatred. This indicate that wanting to be recognized for your discoverment is not always the best solution because their alway a loose end of everything. As a final point I just want to say that wanting recognition will alway lead to isolation. The novel Frankenstein proved my point. Sometime it is better just to go along with what life throw at you. If you prefer to spend your life discovering something instead of just being with your family. I guarantee that your life would be similar to those in the book. It is better just to

live life in maximum. You know what they say, you only live once. Might at well spent your time with your family and loving ones.
