INTRODUCTION
o Introduce yourself

o Pass out and review your agenda
To save on paper, you may write your agenda on the board, or on a poster big enough for the
class to follow.
Interest Project:
o Learning Goal Project
o What was your driving question?
o Why did you choose it?
o What did you learn about it?
Visual aids should be focused on this project
During your exhibition, you also need to talk about each of the following subjects:
MATH: (you must do all of the following):
o Write a division number story using a three digit number (dividend) and a one or two digit number (divisor).
Demonstrate how to solve the number story. Include a picture to help students better understand. Explain your
answer and what you did with the remainder if you had one. (Be creative!!)
o Solve the two-digit by two-digit multiplication problem given to you from your teacher. Demonstrate how you
solved the problem.
o Be prepared to add or subtract two decimals given to you by your teacher the day of the exhibition.
READING:
Non-Read 180 Students: (you must do all of the following):
o Create a new book cover for either your book in the bag book or your guided reading book. Your cover should
include:
o Front: Create a new title and cover illustration for your book. (Be creative!!)
o Back: Write a brief summary and a “blurb” selling your book to readers.
o You also must present the real title and author of the book
SCIENCE:
o Create your own picture of the water cycle. Label all parts of the water cycle and describe each part of the water
cycle
SOCIAL STUDIES:
o Pick a famous person from Michigan’s history (from Chapters 1-7 in your Michigan History book)
o Write a 3 paragraph letter to the person
1st paragraph = background information on the person (date of birth, education, date of death,
etc.)
2nd paragraph = Tell how they impacted Michigan history and your own life.
3rd paragraph = Tell how they have inspired you.
AMPP:
o Discuss an AMPP class that you did well in.
o Share what attributed to your success in this class
STUDENTS MUST USE VISUAL AIDS FOR EACH PART OF THEIR PRESENTATIONS!!!
Students are required to fulfill each part of this checklist for their exhibitions. Students MAY,
however, come see their teachers if they have an idea for presenting something other than what is
listed above. A change from this checklist MUST be approved by the teacher well in advance of
exhibitions.
Students must receive at least 80% on their presentations to pass. If they don’t pass, they will be
required to redo their presentations within one week with or without their parents being present.
