Usage Fluid/Lubricant
Engine Oil Engine oil with the American Petroleum Institute Certified For Gasoline
Engines STARBURST symbol of the proper viscosity. To determine the
preferred viscosity for this vehicle's engine, refer to Explanation of Scheduled
Maintenance.
Engine Coolant 50/50 mixture of clean drinkable water and use only GM Goodwrench® DEX-
COOL® or Havoline® DEX-COOL® coolant.
Hydraulic Brake Delco Supreme 11® Brake Fluid (GM P/N 12377967 or equivalent DOT-3
System brake fluid).
Parking Brake Chassis lubricant (GM P/N 12377985 or equivalent) meeting requirements of
Cable Guides NLGI Grade 2, Category GC or GC-LB
Power Steering GM Hydraulic Power Steering Fluid (GM P/N 1052884 - 1 pint, 1050017 - 1
System quart, or equivalent).
Automatic DEXRON®-III Automatic Transmission Fluid
Transmission
Key Lock Multi-Purpose Lubricant, Superlube® (GM P/N 12346241 or equivalent).
Cylinders
Chassis Chassis lubricant (GM P/N 12377985 or equivalent) or lubricant meeting
Lubrication requirements of NLGI Grade 2, Category GC or GC-LB.
Rear Wheel Wheel bearing lubricant (GM P/N 1051344) or equivalent) or lubricant
Bearings meeting requirements of NLGI Grade 2, Category GC or GC-LB
Front Axle Axle Lubricant (GM P/N 1052271) or SAE 80W-90 GL-5 Gear Lubricant.
Rear Axle Axle Lubricant (GM P/N 12378261) SAE 75W-90 Synthetic or equivalent
