Question I (50 points) Write a 250-word narrative essay entitled An Amazing Day At Alnwick Castle I realised that there

were only 2 days until the summer holiday would start, and I still hadnt decided where to go. So I called my friends and we decided we to visit Edinbrough. The weather was sunny, therefore we set off on 2st of june. The first thing to visit on our list was the atnwick castle, wich was well known as a haunted castle. Sine I was just a child, Ive always wanted to visit places that have something special, that might surprise you with their stories. It never passed trough my mind that something so bizarre could happen to us. I couldnt even imagine how terrible things were about to happen. When we arrived at the castle, we were very impressed by the view. It was located in the middle of an ancient village, and the atmosphere was so strange. The villagers seemed to hide from the tourists, it seemed like something weird was floating in the air. The sky suddenly turned gray, and the sun hide, like it was afraid of something. When we stepped into the castle, I had a strange feeling that something was pushing on my chest, like someone was trying to make me leave that building. I told that to my friends, but they didnt listen, and from that moment on I was sure something was wrong. My friends understood that too when the guide left us alone in the most terrifying room that Ive ever seen. It looked like a perfect place for a murder. The floor was squeaking under our feet, and the walls seemed to have eyes. Suddenly, a floating man appeared right in my front, and started laugh hollowly. In his black, expressionless eyes you couldnt see anything. Ive never seen such a cold , emotionless face in my hole life. His white arm fell down from his shoulder right in my friends head. He passed out instantly and that was the moment when we realized we had to get out from that room. I tried to open the door, but although it wasnt locked, an invisible force seemed keep it closed. So I broke the window, and I managed to get out. After everybody got out, we realized how lucky we were. as we were getting away we could still see when a look of pure hatred flashed across that ghosts face, as he was staying in the front of the window, like he was waiting for his next victim. it was a terrifying experience, and since that day we have never visited such a haunted castle as alnwick.
