Speaker: 1. Mohd Azrul Mohd Noor (Senior Manager in Multimedia Synergy Corporation) For the first section,our speaker is Azrul Mohd Noor who works as a Senior Manager in Multimedia Synergy Corporation. Multi Media Synergy Corporation Sendirian Berhad (MMSC), a learning technology company, was established in September 1997 to pursue the MSC Smart School Project. It was formed from the synergy of e-learning professionals that posses experience and expertise in the field of courseware design, instructional design, media creation, content development, project management and consultancy. En. Mohd Azrul say that business providing end-to-end e-learning solutions to education and non-education market.The example of elements for multimedia are teks,video,graohic,VO recorder programming and storyboard.Animation is a simulation of movement created by displaying a series of pictures, or frames. Cartoons on television is one example of animation. Animation on computers is one of the chief ingredients of multimedia presentations. There are many software applications that enable you to create animations that you can display on a computer monitor. Graphic design is a creative process, one most often involving a client and a designer, and traditionally completed in conjunction with producers of form (printers, sign makers, etc.) Graphic design is undertaken to convey a specific message (or messages) to a targeted audience, usually from the client, known as the 'brief'. A storyboard is a plan, a way of figuring out the story of the film before you put in the enormous amount of work of the animation itself. Basically, it is the story of the movie drawn in pictures, very much like a comic strip. A programming language is an artificial language designed to communicate instructions to a machine, particularly a computer. Programming languages can be used to create programs that control the behavior of a machine and/or to express algorithms precisely. The software of e-learning used by MMSC are flash, illustrator and photoshop.The example of e-learning that show during the talk are day to night,tick tock seed on

morphorsis,the story of earth,zakat,sectors of tourism industry,pantai medical center.This all example make the students learn more easily and efficient. Animation Les Copaque Way 1. Ahmad Razuri Roseli (Assistant Art Director)

The second speaker for the talk are AHMAD RAZURI ROSELI ,assistant art director from Animation Les Copaque Way. Les Copaque Production Sdn. Bhd. was incorporated in December 2005 to spearhead Malaysias animation industry and providing opportunities for the local graduates to showcase their talent. We are specializing in producing high quality 3D animation with local images but has global appeal. Their main project is to produce a 3D animation film title Geng: The Adventure Begins. It is going to be Malaysias 1st 3D animation film which is planned to be completed by May 2008. The are 3 major departments from Les Copaque Production such as animation department, art department and story house department.

During the talk,the speaker also show their company 3D animated feature flimKenangan Mengusik Jiwa. Kenangan Mengusik Jiwa is ep34 in the 35th and the 36th in Upin & Ipin sixth season. This episode is specially produced to commemorate the Great Artist P. Ramlee. Upin & Ipin is a Malaysian television series of animated shorts produced by Les' Copaque Production, which features the life and adventures of the eponymous twin brothers in a fictional Malaysian kampung. Originally a side project for the blockbuster animated film Geng: The Adventure Begins, Upin & Ipin was introduced on TV9 in 13 September 2007 as a six-episode Ramadan/Eid special, to instil significance of the Islamic holy month amongst children. To date, the series has reached its fourth season, including another Ramadan special season in 2008, and, season three onwards, the year-long, more general themed Upin & Ipin and Friends, the series' international debut via the Disney Channel Asia, with more concentrating on telling the lives of Upin and Ipin with their friends on the normal days. Good project manager is very important to success the project.Every department play the different role in the project.Before the production start ,the story house need to think the title and the story they want produce.After the story is out,they will start to do the script by c the movie and more details relate toP.RAMLEE where later on will go into the voive recording section Whereas the art department ,the will start to draw the character.Then they will send to the story boarders to create the story reader and have better view.After that they will start modelling the character by modelling their joints. For animation part, they will start do the pose for all the character and correct the part of color and effect done on animation.The last part will be audio section as tge sound design will start putting the background sound and music into animation.After that animation is review and done,it will be transfer into tape and send to clients. Before the talk end, En. Ahmad Razuri Roseli have show the process to do the Kenangan Mengusik Jiwa.Beside that ,their company also has start do the games that related to upin and ipin to attract more people to see this flim. The popularity of Upin & Ipin could have attributed to the commercial success of Malaysia's first CGI-animated feature film " Geng: The Adventure Begins ", which propelling it into the RM 6.31 million mark throughout its seven-week run in Malaysian cinemas as one of the highest-grossing Malay-language films in history.
