In pairs, students are given 3 situations for them to choose. a) your friend is very talented in drawing, he showed you his art works, compliment his drawings. b) your friend is wearing a new dress, compliment her looks c) your friend had just had his hair cut, compliment his new hairdo 2. One of them will be complimenting while the other student responds to it. (then switch roles) 3. Allocate 5 minutes to prepare.

Students will listen to this text and answer the questions orally. A toaster is a modern electrial appliance. It is found in most kitchens today. It is used to toast bread. The toaster uses heat to tast bread. Usually two slices of bread can be put into a toaster at one time. The toaster is switch on and the heating device in the toaster browns the bread. The heat in the toaster can be adjusted. If you like your bread to be lightly browned, then lower the heat of the toaster. If you like your bread well browned and crisp then increase the heat of the toaster. Crisp toasted bread is delicious with jam, margarine or kaya. It is small wonder many young children have taken a fancy for it. Besides being a wonderful toaster, it is quite handy, portable and does not occupy much space. Its price is also fairly affordable. B3 DL2 E1 Students are to write down the main idea and supporting details in the table given based on what they have listened. Paragraph 1 Main Idea Supporting detail
