Scope of the Problem
This study aims to gather information about the comparison between pre-and post-pandemic
learning and its impact on the self-perception of student nurses in SWU-PHINMA. Specifically, it
aims to answer the ff questions:

STUDENTS AND WORKERS’ DURING THE PANDEMIC”
Statement of the problem:
This comparative study aims to compare the sudden behavioral lifestyle changes of a student
and a worker in a different setting during a pandemic. Specifically, this study seeks to aim for
further guidelines. Or The purpose of this research is to study the lives of students and workers
and to compare the behavioral analysis of their different settings in this pandemic. (Onsite and
at home setting)

Title: “KNOWLEDGE AND PREPAREDNESS OF BSN STUDENTS ON CLINICAL NURSING

SKILLS FOR FUNDAMENTAL NURSING CARE”
Statement of the problem:
This research will assess the knowledge and preparedness for clinical Nursing Skills in
Fundamental Nursing Care amidst the pandemic among Nursing students in Southwestern
University PHINMA. The ability of student nurses to utilize clinical reasoning skills in the clinical
environment is essential to safe and effective patient care. The purpose of this study was to
examine if a difference in clinical reasoning skills exists between the COVID19 Pandemic and
the determining factors that may cause the difference. The research participants were the
second-year and third-year undergraduate nursing students from one nursing school in the
Philippines.

Specifically, the study aimed to provide answers to the following questions:

1. What is the profile of the respondents

1.3 Student Course and year
2. How much knowledge and skills for clinical practice does nursing students have already
acquired? 
3. . What are some important skills in Fundamental Nursing Care that determine the level
