About USC:
USC is an anchor institution in Los Angeles, a global center for arts, technology, and international trade. USC enrolls more international students than any other US university and offers extensive opportunities for internships and study abroad. At the time USC was created in 1880 there were 50 students and 10 teachers. Today, there are more than 38,000 students and 3,500 full-time faculty located in the heart of Los Angeles.

Demographics:
The university has 18,000 undergraduate students and 22,000 graduate and professional students About 63.1% of undergraduate students are under 21 years old with 33.5 between the age of 21 and 25 and 3.4% over 25 About 56.1% of graduate students are over 25 with 43.6% between the age of 21-25 and .2% under 21 At USC there are 49.4% male and 50.6% female undergraduate students There are 49.2% male and 50.8% female graduate students The ethnicity breakdown for USC undergraduate students is 40.9% white, 22.6% Asian, 13.9% Hispanic, 12.3% international, 4.6% black, and 5.8% other The ethnicity breakdown for USC graduate students is 33.7% white, 16.5% Asian, 10.6% Hispanic, 24.7% international, 5% black, and 9.4% other

Academic Schools:

Athletics:
USC has a long tradition of athletic excellence with the Trojan men having won more individual NCAA titles than those from any other US university and two Trojan women who have won the Honda-Broderick Cup honoring the top female collegiate athlete of the year. Since 1904, almost 400 Trojan athletes have competed in the Olympic games and have taken home 122 gold medals.

Scholarships:
Scholarships are given for USC Merit scholarships as well as other scholarships given from different families and based on different academic achievements such as the international freshman academic scholarship, deans scholarship, Mock Family Scholarship.
