Formal Assessment Week (27 May 6 June)

Parents please assist us by ensuring that your child is fully prepared for their Exams. Check that all work is completed in their books. Prepare a Study Timetable whereby they spend two hours each night studying. They should have a designated study area, away from distraction and clutter. They must have a 5-10min break after every 30 minutes of studying. Test them on what they have studied. Do not ask if they have studied, of course they will say yes. Instead ask them to show you their study notes and then ask questions on the work that they have studied. If they attend after care, please advise the after care of their upcoming exams and request that the aftercare assist by ensuring that they study. Please ensure that they have enough stationery as borrowing and/or lending during a test will not be allowed. Each day will have 2 exam sessions of 90mins each. All co-curricular will be cancelled during the exams. Please remember that Term 2 reports will be handed out early in Term 3.

BOTTOM GATE From 1 June

To alleviate the traffic congestion at the school, we have decided to make use of the bottom gate. From the end of May all transport providers will be asked to use the new gate in Mahogany Street. We appeal to parents to inform all transport providers to drop the learners at the bottom gate and not to enter the one way.
