A telephone reservation of a date will be held for a few days if requested. For busy periods however, this reservation will be held for no more than four days therefore, please complete the booking form and return it with your cheque as soon as possible. Please make the cheque out to S Younger. Note, your booking will not be accepted until the Deposit and Booking Form have been received. An email will be sent to you confirming receipt of your cheque and the booking form. The balance of your payment is due 8 weeks before your arrival in Vilamoura. Once this has been received confirmation of receipt of this payment will be sent to you together with full details for your stay including directions to our property, arrangements for access, and contact information for emergencies. BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS Booking Confirmation Once we receive your completed Booking Form and deposit / full payment, we will issue you with a Booking Confirmation Pack, normally within 60 days. This pack contains all the details of the apartment, your rental period, directions from the airport, key and safe information, etc. Please read through this carefully to make sure we have detailed everything correctly from your booking request and let us know immediately if anything is wrong, unclear or you need to make any changes. If you fail to receive your Booking Confirmation, please contact us to let us know. Cancellations You may cancel the booking in writing at any time prior to your arrival date, but the following cancellation charges will apply:More than 60 days to arrival 25% (Booking Deposit) Less than 60 days to arrival 100% Please note that the 25% booking deposit is non-refundable in all cases. With this in mind, we would strongly advise taking out adequate travel insurance to cover you for any losses arising from you having to cancel your booking through illness, injury, etc. Liability We accept no liability for any death, personal injury, sickness, accident, loss or damage (including personal belongings) howsoever caused, on the premises or as a result of using any of the complexs facilities or arising in connection with your stay. Please note that for safety reasons children should never be left unattended in the pool area. The Old Village/Prestige Condominium rules must be adhered to at all times Please note that you are liable for any damages to the apartment or its contents during your booked dates or for any losses of the inventory therein. We cannot accept any liability for the correct operation or availability of any of the facilities on the Old Village/Prestige Condominium, including the swimming pool, catering and laundry facilities or indeed any other facilities outside the apartment that are beyond our control. If we know of any withdrawn, unavailable or non-functioning facility that may affect the enjoyment of your stay before you arrive, we will of course, advise you immediately. Force Majeure We accept no responsibility or liability whatsoever and no compensation will be made in the event of any loss or delay occasioned by: strikes, terrorist activity, war, industrial disputes, fire, flood, technical failures howsoever caused, aircraft grounding, airport closures, adverse weather or any other event beyond our control. Travel Insurance Although this isnt a condition of booking, we cannot stress enough the importance of having adequate travel insurance before coming to the Algarve, bearing in mind the vast expense that would be incurred if you or any member of your party were to fall ill and needed to be repatriated. Privacy Statement We would like to make all our customers aware that we take your privacy issues very seriously. No personal details of you or your party or your e-mail address will ever be passed on to any third party other than those agencies connected directly with your rental of the apartment. Under normal circumstances those agencies are ourselves and our management company. Complaints Despite all these heavy rules, we want you to enjoy your stay with us and would be very concerned should you have any cause for complaint. The Old Village/Prestige Condominium management are responsible for the communal pools, grounds, water, electricity supply and anything outside the actual apartment itself. If there is a problem with any of these, in the first instance please contact our Management Company, Five Star Services in Village Square at their reception and they should be able to resolve the problem quickly. Our management company, Five Star Services, handle the apartment interior and balcony in its entirety. Please contact them if something needs attending to inside the apartment. Should any complaint you make not be dealt with in a prompt and courteous manner then please phone, fax or e-mail us with full details of the incident and we will investigate your concerns. Other information 3a Village gate - Sunbeds are provided for the use of guests on the terrace but around the pool areas they are chargeable at a cost of 1.50 per morning and afternoon this charge is totally out of our control. Alternatively you can sunbathe on the grassed area for free. A pass is required for entry to the pool area and can be found in the apartment please leave this in the apartment for the use of the next guests. 104 Prestige - Sunbeds are provided for the use of guests on the terrace or around the pool. Personal belongings must not be left on the terrace overnight. Rubbish can be disposed of in the numerous large wheelie bins situated around the Old Village.
