During Specialist on Friday April 17th, kids experienced Yoga, Drums Alive,
and/or Zumba, taught by nationally certified YMCA instructors!
Students are also invited to join their friends at the Y on Sunday, April 19,
with their families, for a free day of healthy fun!

What have we been up to?

This week in math, we finished our unit on
geometry. We wrapped up this unit by talking
about 3-dimensional geometric shapes. Students
are now able to count the faces, edges, and
vertices of any polyhedron. We took a big unit
test on Friday, so look for that to come home
sometime next week.
We continued working in our four
different reading groups. Students are getting
close to finishing their books and are making
predictions about what will happen at the end
of their stories. We should finish our books next
week and students will complete a book report Corey and Eric trying out the Enjoying some outside time!
