y name is Kenneth Yim and I currently live in Seoul, South Korea as a high school student. My goal in life is to be able to positively help people around me no matter where I am. My dream career is to be an inspiring musician that can help inspire people to follow the path they choose. I want to see the people around me to smile without the burdens that the modern world can place on a person. In order to achieve my goal I created this career plan to help guide me through the process of becoming the inspirational musician I wish to be. College I would like to be accepted into a college with prestigious performing arts classes. I would major in performing arts so that I can become a stage musician. This class will teach me how to advance my bass guitar technique along with how to perform in front of crowds without the stress of stage fright. Such a class will help me become a better performer overall. To accompany this major I shall minor in music theory in order to learn the ways that notes fit together in order to compose songs as a musician. A musician without music is nothing so I must be able to compose songs in order to become a great musician. First Jobs To start off my career I would like to play in a band that performs at clubs, lounges, and mini concerts at parties in order to take my first steps as a musician. This way I will know what its like to be part of a band that makes income and travels to different places to perform for smaller scale audiences. Gaining this experience will help me when I decide to apply for the actual thing. If I can get the feel for becoming a musician now then I can be more prepared for the events to come later on.

Development in Jobs & Positions I think that after taking my first steps as an amateur band, I can take up the job as a background musician and play for musicals, concerts that need extras, and for media such as movies or video games. Doing so will help my reputation as a player but may not help my popularity. After becoming a background musician I should start to audition for solo events and see if I can win top prize to catch the eye of record companies. Capstone of Career My dream job is to be a part of a successful band and to be the bandleader. I would play my heart out at every concert and during recording sessions to give only the best of what I have to offer. I want to give the audience, or listener, an experience that they will never forget. As I grow older I would also like to have a guitar company or brand create a custom-made artist signature instrument designed by me. I want to be remembered even after I retire as one of the legendary people who changed music.
