The New Zealand Society was established in 1927 as a dining club for New Zealanders in London. It has now developed into a modern dynamic not for profit organisation that promotes the interests of New Zealand and Kiwis in the United Kingdom. Each year an interesting and varied programme of social, cultural and sporting events is created by a dedicated team of volunteers, who are passionate about developing and promoting activities that encourage a better understanding of Aotearoa. The society through its membership and fundraising is also active in assisting institutions such as the British Museum in the restoration of New Zealand artefacts.
