ALPFA Announces National Winners to be Honored At the 41st Annual Convention


Los Angeles, CA ALPFA, the premier business organization for expanding opportunities for Latino leadership in the global market, announced the winners of the national awards to be presented during the Annual Convention at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center near Washington D.C. The four-day event being held August 3-7, themed Securing A Seat at the Table of Success, will feature a variety of workshops, panel discussions, product pavilion, career fair and university forum. Over 3,000 professionals and students are expected to attend the convention with nearly 100 sponsoring companies including lead sponsor, PwC. The 2013 National Awards offers us an opportunity to publicly recognize the best of the best within ALPFA. Our success is due in part to the commitment and leadership of our members, and I am extremely proud of our winners this year; all of them truly represent our core values: Professional Growth, Integrity, Service, Inclusiveness and Teamwork. Six of the national awards will be presented at ALPFAs Awards Gala, sponsored by Deloitte, to be held Tuesday evening, August 6th. In addition to awards presentation, the evening will feature two of the most renown CEOs in the finance industry: Joe Echevarria, CEO of Deloitte and Bob Moritz, Chairman and Senior Partner of PwC as speakers that evening. The program will end with the national raffle drawing for a Mercedes-Benz and the evening will end with a sneak peek to the plans for 2014.
