NHP supplies not only the Cortem range of hazardous area equipment, but equally important, customer specific systems via our assembly workshop located at our National Distribution and Manufacturing Centre in Melbourne. In this workshop, accredited staff design, construct and inspect the Cortem range according to the requirements of IECEx certification. It allows for flexibility to produce custom solutions to suit your HAE requirements including: Specialist lighting requirements Control stations (including custom orders) Terminal boxes (including custom orders) Full panel design and construction (in both Ex d and Ex de technologies) The NHPEx workshop enables both expeditious and effective solutions for customers and operates under stringent quality assurance guidelines.

NON-hazardous MANUFACTURING and WAREHOUSing FACILITY


Our 12,000 m2 Manufacturing and Warehousing facility offers both custom Ex and non-Ex solutions and is supported by impressive inventory management technologies and state-of-the-art warehousing. The manufacturing centre assembles standard Ex and non-Ex products as well as customised solutions in accordance with customer specifications Hundreds of units are despatched each day for delivery throughout Australia The flexibility of our manufacturing process emphasises customer focus The climate controlled facility is home to over 75 workshop staff and 44 store people, ranging from highly technical Ex competency trained personnel, electrical trade assistants to trained instrument technicians With 5,000 m2 of manufacturing floor space containing 19 separate work centres, NHP can assemble: - Power factor correction panels (PFC) - Distribution boards - Motor control - Variable speed drives (VSD) - Liquid resistance starters up to 12.5 mW - Air circuit breakers (ACB) - Control stations (to customer order)

Our intelligent motor control offering assists with optimising the performance and reliability of your control system. We have combined our leading-edge motor control and protection devices with the advanced networking and diagnostic technologies of Rockwell Automations Integrated Architecture to provide you with Intelligent Motor Control. In oil & gas terminal facilities, as well as ship board automation, it is critical that operators have access to information regarding critical motor status and health. NHPs CUBIC system offers switchboard and motor control centre capabilities in a modular format which meets high end customer needs for the Ex and non-Ex environments. For Ex applications, we are able to offer solutions for mains switching up to 850 A, as well as offer modular switchboard systems in protection techniques Ex d and Ex de, with materials offered including fibreglass reinforced polyester and marine grade aluminium.

The NHP CONCEPT family of economical, multipurpose, premium and heavy duty distribution boards provide ideal solutions for protection of your valuable switchgear. The CONCEPT family maintains a common and attractive appearance throughout the range and provides a unique enclosure system for our range of DIN-T and Safe-T circuit breakers and associated accessory devices. NHP offers flexibility through the use of standard designs for both Ex and non-Ex applications including lighting and small power, emergency lighting, HVAC, heat tracing, reheaters, AC and DC UPS distribution and fire sirens. Pivotal to our range is the focus on safety through our patented Lock Din captive locking system for outgoing MCB circuits. Fitting within a pole width, Lock Din is padlockable in the Off position. Conditioning of electric power for todays energy intensive industries is a must if operating costs are to be properly protected and monitored. NHP has a power quality range to condition your power supply through power factor correction, surge protection and filtering and harmonic mitigation reducing power consumption costs and saving money while also protecting valuable equipment.

Lighting of oil and gas applications can cover requirements from general task and plant lighting, area flood lighting through to marine navigation and search lighting. NHP is able to meet these requirements, with our range of products which includes ship navigation, marine general lighting and search lights. Light fittings typically suffer from the worst environmental conditions, therefore you require a product that can endure the elements day in, day out. Our range of light fittings are designed to do exactly that.
