LONDON 2012
Construction of the London 2012 Olympic Park began in 2008, becoming the largest construction site in Europe. This presented a signicant challenge of how to securely manage the access and identities of workforce personnel on such a vast scale. To resolve this problem Human Recognition Systems deployed MSite on behalf of the Olympic Delivery Authority who required a scalable, secure and robust solution. As the largest deployment of a total identity management and access control solution in the world, MSite managed the access of over 40,000 workers per day and has recorded over 30 million transactions to date. Once the Games came to a close and the Olympic Park Legacy works began, MSite was again chosen to control access to the Park, with MSite Mobile selected to help manage workforce access and identities across key zones within the Park.
