Minutes of the meeting of open house

Date of meeting :- 11th May 2013 Venue :- The conference hall on the first floor

Attendees :- All of IT , Purchase and Commercial department .

The meeting starts at 1:30 in place of 1:15 because of conference room not being ready for the initial 20 min .

Mr Toor who has recently joined the group and this being his first meeting was introduced to all . Following which the house was asked as to who would be sponcering to become the moderator and the note taker . No one volunteered for either of the two posts finally Mr Deepak Panda took up both the roles . The house was then asked a topic . Do we think there is any intra or inter departmental GAP .If yes where, why , and how to overcome the same Mr Das :- No gaps . Mr Goel :- No precise Gap pointed out Mr Gaurav :- Inter departmental gaps do exist but that is within the departments and there is nothing to be discussed as they appear and settle by themselves Ms. Debanjoli :- Some people have problems with some other person or specific person but there is no such interdepartmental issue . The reason may be Ego and their way of thinking towards an issue . These issues have to be settled by the concern person and anybody intervening into it might aggravate the situation . She also stated that because of this subordinated get to feel the impact of the strain . Mr Amit :- No gaps Mr Dinesh :- No gaps Mr Subroto :- No gaps Mr Debasis :- No problem at all . Later added that many suffer from phobia of having missed some assignment and getting scolded by Rajesh ji on his returning from any trip .He questioned the house as to whether people do not work on days Rajesh ji is out on tour . To this the house was mum . He re-affirmed the question again then why this hidden phobia ??

Mr Snehangshu :- No gaps Mr Subhajit :- No gaps but highlighted another issue that may appear to others as intra departmental issue was the air conditioner . As there is a remote and everyone has his or her comfort temperature so everyone want to control it accordingly. The house felt that proper flow of ac is a must but all have to work with the constrain . Mr Sandeep :- No gap Mr Panda :- Trust and respect the relationship of one undivided group . The mantra proposed is not to discuss anything behind anyone. Ms. Monika :- Motivation from Sr Management and sharing of experience and learning is missing and so office becomes a mundane place with no enthusiasm . She wanted the house to do something different from next meeting . Mr Sinha :- First accepts the point of Monica having felt that the warmth that should have been conveyed while distribution of the Silver memento for the organisation having achieved the target in the month of march 2013 . Mr Rajesh Agarwal :- Greeted all and conveyed his feelings on the point raised by Monica . He also admired Monicas straight forwardness and openness in bringing out facts onto the table and not keeping it within and brooding . He also pointed that he shall be sharing his travel experience from the next meetings.

Other points :- All departmental meetings should start again and the conference room in the ground floor can be used after renovation is over . Departmental meeting should happen every 15 days . The next date of open house meeting shall be on 8th June . The moderator shall be Mr Das and Mr Toor shall be the notes taker . All have to send their suggestions and agenda to Mr das by 25th May 2013 .
