Can you keep a secret?


Has anybody ever told you a secret? Dont tell anybody else, you might have heard.
But maybe the story was just too hard to keep a secret, and you told somebody else? Jesus did so many miracles when He was living here on earth. In the Bible, we read a few stories of when Jesus healed blind people. In todays story, two blind men followed Christ and called to Him, Have mercy on us! When Christ touched their eyes, they both could see again. After that, Jesus told the men, See that no In this icon, Christ is healing the one knows it. THE DORMITIONA CELEBRATION!


Usually when we hear about somebodys death, we might feel sad. But on Thursday, we will celebrate the
day that Jesuss mother, Mary, the Theotokos died. Celebrate? Yes! Because we know that she is with her Son again. We know that she is praying for us and praying for the whole world. Once, Jesus went to a wedding with His In the icon, we see Christ taking the soul of His mother. After a while, mother to heaven. You can also see the apostles all around the body of the Theotokos. they ran out of wine, and they didnt have anything to drink. Mary, the Theotokos, asked her Son to do something, and He did. He changed the water into wine, and then everybody could have some again. The Theotokos is always listening to our prayers. And just like for that first miracle, she asks her Son to do something! I bet you know at least somebody named Maria. How about Mary? Despina? Panagiotis? Panagiota? Marieta? Be sure to wish him or her a happy nameday many years! Then help celebrate!
