ABOUT THE PARTNER
The Barbican is Europes largest multi-arts venue presenting a diverse range of art, music, theatre,

ABOUT THE PARTNER
The Castle is run by climbers for climbers and as the premier indoor climbing centre in South East
England, receives more annual visits than any other climbing centre in the U.K. It is constructed

Each summer the City of London Festival brings the Citys unique buildings and outdoor spaces to

ABOUT THE PARTNER
John Keats was a Romantic Poet who wrote some of the best loved poems in the English Language,
including Ode to a Nightingale and To Autumn. He lived at Keats House from 1818 to 1820 and
here he met the love of his life, Fanny Brawne, and wrote some of his most memorable poetry.

Mansion House
OTHER INFORMATION
Public Tours of Mansion House run every Tuesday afternoon at 2pm and start from the meeting
point - the A-board near the porch entrance to Mansion House, this is in Walbrook (exit 8 from
Bank tube station). Please arrive at the meeting point by 1.45pm for a 2pm start. Tours cannot be
booked in advance. Please note that tours may occasionally be cancelled at short notice subject to
the demands on the building which is the home and offce of the Lord Mayor of London; details
of any changes will be published on the website (or call 020 7626 2500). Please note that no tours
take place in August when the Mansion House is closed for refurbishment. Tours are not suitable
for children under 12.
ABOUT THE PARTNER
Mansion House is the home and offce of the Lord Mayor of London, this unique building was built
in the age of Hogarth and is a rare surviving Georgian town palace in central London. Although the
Mansion House has undergone several redevelopments since it was built in 1758, it retains much of
its original character and is a wonderful building to visit.

The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew was founded in 1759, and declared a UNESCO World Heritage
Site in 2003. Alongside Kew Gardens in London, Kew has a second country garden based at
Wakehurst which is the home of Kews Millennium Seed Bank. As well as being one of Londons
top visitor attractions, Kew is also a world leader in plant science and conservation. Our work

Community Service Volunteers runs regular 2-hour training sessions for befrienders or those
volunteering with elderly or vulnerable members of the community in another capacity. It provides
an opportunity not only to explore issues around safeguarding, confdentiality and the alerters
procedure but to meet other volunteers and locals of the City of London, share something of your
own experiences supporting a vulnerable person and/or to listen to and learn from others.
