STAIRCASE

And I wonder if you can imagine a big old house somewhere?.....

dissociation Gives time to .... with a fence... and a big garden... and maybe there are trees.... think ... its the sort of house that families grew up in... generations of people.... engage personal living and laughing..... experience There's been weddings and parties... Christmas trees and Easter Eggs... engage I and birthday candles and happy times.... visualization ...inside that house... there's a staircase.... And you can find yourself at the top of that staircase.... I ...and I don't know if that staircase is wood or marble... or carpet.... doesn't all alternatives matter..... ...and there can be a handrail.... safety ...and you can imagine yourself beginning to go down those steps.... safe and secure... comfortable.... because at the bottom there is a door.... anticipation, ... and behind that door is a wonderful thing, for you. safety standard ... and you can begin to go down those steps now ... and with every step D staircase you get more relaxed.... and deeper into trance deepener and so TEN going down.... deeper relaxed... and NINE deeper still..... D ... and EIGHT.... deeper relaxed... D ..and SEVEN... down and down... D .. and SIX... And feel yourself sinking into that chair... wonderfully supported as if you D dissociation are lying on a fleecy cloud... just allowing yourself to drift..... ...and FIVE.... deeper and deeper..... ...and FOUR .... down and down.... D ... and THREE.... ....and TWO.... ...and there is one step left.... ... and when you go down from that last step.... there is just zero....and you can imagine drifting through the center of that zero.... through a black void of nothingness... a wonderful soft velvety warm comfortable D darkness.... you are relaxed and at ease... your mind is completely relaxed.... ....and the only thing of importance is the sound of my voice... everything D else can fade away... Here is another example of the stairs induction, this time using a spiral staircase. This is particularly effective with children. It can be combined with a confusion induction and used to create trance in highly analytic clients. It can also be used after the actual induction as a trance deepener.

DISSOCIATION DEEPENER

And I wonder if you can feel yourself sinking gently into that chair, now.... and feeling yourself supported as if you are on a big fleecy cloud... and just drifting down I Sensory and down...into that cloud.... feeling yourself going deeper and deeper... deeper and deeper... Just allowing yourself to drift away now... nothing is important... nothing matters... D Supposition and you can feel yourself going down and down.. And my voice can become whatever you want it be... my voice can become the sound of rain on the window pane on a winter's night.... or my voice can be the voice of a teacher... or a parent... or a friend... and my voice can be the wind blowing along an Dissociation empty street.... in summer... or maybe... the wind is blowing along a street in autumn... And picks up a leaf and that leaf gets carried away .... here and there.... and it goes left and right.... and up and down... and that wind... carries the leaf safely and gently.... as Confusion it goes round and round... swirling and swooping.... And then it goes down... gently .... swirling round.... as if it is in a spiral stair case... And I wonder if you can imagine a spiral staircase.... the way the spiral staircase goes down and round and round... and you can imagine yourself on that spiral staircase... Visualization and you can imagine going down that spiral staircase.... and there can be a handrail and it's safe... And you can count yourself down that spiral staircase.... and the first step is TEN... Countdown and the next step goes down deeper NINE... and EIGHT feeling more relaxed and more comfortable... and SEVEN drifting away... then SIX down and down..... really Pace with relax.... then FIVE deeper and deeper... and then FOUR... nothing matters.... nothing breathing counts.... you have nothing to do... you don't have to do anything... you don't have to think.... listen... anything at all.... and then THREE nearing the bottom.... totally relaxed... then TWO ... almost there .... and ONE... gone down... into some warm dark place... where your mind can just drift away... if any thoughts come into your mind just let them go... like little puppies running away wagging their tails.... you can ignore them... they'll just go away... and then ONE... you're at the bottom... feeling

really good... totally relaxed... and you can just enjoy that feeling of release and relaxation.... knowing that everything's OK and you're OK.... and there are no issues... nothing you have to do... That's very good.... you're doing very well... [Now do a depth test]
