What was it?

Niccolo Machiavilli who wrote the book entitled The Prince who brings influence in politics during his time even in the present. Niccolo Machiavilli contribute a lot in the field of politics because of his works and the book The Prince that makes him famous, the book really gives a big impact in the politics and the people who tried to read it. It was an examination of how a leader could gain power and stay in power. Machiavelli described how to run a principality without regard for traditional ideas about right and wrong. He wrote it with the hopes of gaining favour with the politically powerful Medici family. Who were they? Niccolo Machiavilli What was the time frame in they lived? 1469 Birth in Florence of Niccolo di Bernardo Machiavilli to Bernardo and Bartolomea (nee de Nelli). 1475 Machiavilli father receives a copy of Livys History of Rome as payment for creating the volumes index. 1471 Cardinal Francesco Della Rovere is elected Pope as Sixtus IV. 1486 Niccolo is put in charge of binding a number of his fathers books, the Livy History is one. 1498 - Enters public life as Chief of the Second Chancery through which he is also Secretary to the Ten of Liberty and Peace, the commission which oversees military matters and foreign affairs. He is also an inspector of the Florentine fortifications. Niccolo Machiavilli works really contribute in our way of thinking because his book The Prince still influences the politics according to the Economist Albert O. How did it alter the way we perceived the world or reality? Because of the book The Prince it shows on how the politics before and in the present are runs, because the book has it big influence in the politics the book is written not theoretically politics but it is written about the real politics that makes it famous and change the way we perceived in the world, the Machiavilli books like The Prince influence our knowledge about politics before and even in the present that makes him famous.

What were the main views expressed? His works main views about politics because during his time politics is the main problem because of the poor leadership. The book The Prince even it was an examination of how a leader could gain power and stay in power. Machiavelli described how to run a principality without regard for traditional ideas about right and wrong. He wrote it with the hopes of gaining favour with the politically powerful Medici family. Summarize the main points. Machiavelli was an innovative thinker who was not afraid to put his ideas into action or write them out for all to examine. The Prince inuenced political thought from his time to the present and is as relevant to politics today as it was in 1513. His work and ideas have endured for centuries. It is for this reason that Machiavelli had the biggest inuence on history of any individual of the Renaissance or Reformation. What type of research was it? Qualitative/Quantitative? Quantitative Is it important to us today? Why or why not? Yes because Machiavellis book The Prince still inuences the political and nancial operation of the modern world. Economist Albert O. What are the lessons we can learn? The lessons we can learn are the reality about politics during his time and in the present that makes him famous. Because other researchers believe it still influence the modern politics today. Did they suggest other area of research?
