Appraisal Management System
SYNOPSIS This solution was developed for a client that provides commercial and residential real estate appraisal services. The company required a new database system to run the appraisals business and track projects, appraisers assigned to the projects, clients and deadlines. The application is programmed in WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) using a Microsoft SQL Server back-end and runs on a local network. It provides secure login for system users and a roles-based permissions system. Pictured below are selected screenshots of this windows desktop application called eMetrix.

SYNOPSIS The Dealer Team is a company that consults with motorcycle dealerships to help the sales staff increase effectiveness and sales. The company requested a web site that allows their clients to log in and record daily sales metrics. Pictured below are selected screenshots of this web application called Dealer Dashboard. The site is programmed in ASP .Net using a Microsoft SQL Server back-end. It presents a clean, modern look.

An incredibly intuitive data entry screen allows managers to enter daily employee results using graphical slider controls. This interface is elegant and enormously user-friendly, and also provides an excellent visual representation of daily results.

Silverlight Web Applications

Music eXpress Silverlight Demonstration
SYNOPSIS Microsoft Silverlight is a browser plugin from Microsoft that provides a rich user experience for applications delivered via the internet and run in a web browser. The power of Silverlight is that it delivers an end-user experience that is virtually identical to a Windows Desktop application, yet provides the ability to access the application from any web browser with no installation required (other than the Silverlight plugin). The following screenshots are from the Music eXpress demonstration software available from the dobbs enterprise solutions website (the demo site will be launched May 1st 2012). The Music eXpress demonstration uses the example of a fictitious wholesaler of musical instruments to illustrate how a full-featured business application can be delivered via the internet. As you can see from the screenshots below, once logged in the user interface is virtually identical to the Windows Desktop application presented earlier in this document.
