Transportation. On the East Coast: Please try to carpool with those from your area. Map
Quest on the internet has excellent directions.

From the Midwest and West Coast. If you fly in, Newark Airport (EWR) is the most convenient,
about an hour and half from the conference site. If you can fly into Allentown, PA, (ABE) it is
much closer, about 45 minutes away. The round trip fare from CA has been as low as $257.
Keep checking for special fares. They keep changing every week. If you find a good fare,
book it.

We hope everyone will be able to get to the retreat center on their own, but CCOWE will try to
arrange rides from the airport if necessary. If we know the transportation needs by early
October, so we can make plans. The Chinese section has arranged a round trip shuttle on
Monday from Newark for $60, JFK for $80, but the arrival time at the site is late afternoon.
Coming from the West Coast, a person will need to come a day earlier, unless he doesn’t mind
the red eye. We are planning to start our meeting by 2 pm on Monday for those who can make
it. It is imperative that we start on a right foot, as brothers and sisters in the Lord, and not
strangers, so that we can be honest and truly interact with one another during this short and
crucial time together.
