IN MY OPINION . . .

The following anicdotes are strictly my opinion and are not to be construed as fact. However, I experienced them while working and playing with some of these "HEROS" of Silicon Valley. They were all brilliant, visionary , showmen with a calling to produce some of the greatest techno-logical innovations the world has ever seen. Steve Jobs, a great showman and designer, created some of the most advaned and innovative computers of his time, with the help of Steve Wozniak and Mike Markkula. He was also a pioneer in the areas of cell phone design and computer animation. He left a legacy of style and leadership unlike anyone of his time or before. Mr.Jobs attention to detail set a standard only to be attained by his followers. In the history of technical innovation taking a note from Nicola Tesla and Thomas Edison, Steve Jobs fulfills their dreams of universal electrical availability and access. He took their hopes for using electricity to power the many things of todays computers and lighting and extended it to the myriad of mobile devices

and radio and television transmission to share the news, sports, and music programs, that we all love, with the world. The music, voice-overs and auditory special effects were created and edited by c omputer genius Andy Moorer, which earned him numerous awards like an Oscar, an Emmy and he had "over 40 technical publications and four
patents to his credit. He personally designed and wrote many of the advanced DSP algorithms for the Sonic Solutions 'NoNOISE' process which is used to restore vintage recordings for CD remastering"

There is billions of dollars being made with these wonderous innovations, and at the top of their financial windfall is Bill Gates. His financial expertise is being shared through his foundation. He and his wufe Melissa Gates give back half of his billions to help the people of "third world" countries get food and clean water. Here is how he put it "I actually thought it would be a little confusing during the same period of your life to be in one meeting when you're trying to make money, and then go to another meeting where you're giving it away"2

I can"t say enough about the genius of Nicola Tesla. Here;s my favorite cartoon of Tesla. Stolen from The Oatmeal

Unsung genius of our time. ( Unsung mostly because he got into a fight with the famed Thomas Edison.) Brilliant inventor, and scientific discoverer since Leonardo DaVinci, and according to "The Oatmeal", "the greatest Geek who ever lived." s ee: C:\Users\Earle Lane\Desktop\NIKOLA TESLA\Why Nikola Tesla was the

greatest geek who ever lived - The Oatmeal.htm (www.http//theoatmeal.com) THANK YOU - Matthew Inman In his opinion, Teslas most far-reaching invention was that of alternating current electricity. He built the first hydroelectric plant at Niagrra Falls and proved to the world that this type of power was a practical energy source. He also experimented with cryogenic engineering way before its invention. Regarding the invention of Radio, Tesla had this to say. "Marconi is a good fellow. Let him continue. He is using seventeen of my patents." (Again, Thank you Oatmeal.) Teslas inventions include: the modern electric motor, remote control, neon lighting, wireless communications and many others. Thomas Edison and the "Current Wars" Michael Dell Just because Bill Gates is the richest man in the world, that didn't stop Michael Dell from competing with Steve Jobs and Mike Markkulas Macintosh and other PC-based computers.

From His

capitalization cost of $1,000.

in 1984, Dell is now ranked as the

41st richest person in the world on 2012 Forbes Billionaires list, with a net worth of US$15.9 billion as of March 2012. (Not too bad !)

Tesla was undoubtably the most
