Job responsibilities include preaching weekly messages on Wednesday evenings at an event called Afterhours, daily engaging in intercessory prayer for residents, mentoring several residents in a one-on-one basis, and discipling the rest of the halls staff. Cabin Counselor- Camp Timber-lee Summer 2013 I served for 9 weeks at a summer camp in East Troy, Wisconsin. My job was to assist campers in meeting Jesus at their point of need, to facilitate experiences that broadened campers receptivity to the leading of the Holy Spirit and what life in Christ truly looks like, to create positive and exciting memories of camp that campers will take with them for the rest of their lives, and to facilitate opportunities for authentic relationships to flourish amongst the campers, to flourish between the campers and myself, and to flourish between the campers and God.
