I would appreciate your consideration for this job opening as my experience and skills are an ideal match for this position. In addition to being highly organized and detailed oriented, I have been involved with the Sam Houston State Athletic Department for three years working as a tutor for student-athletes, as event staff for all sports, and intern in the Compliance Office. I developed a database of lost APR points to find commonalities that would allow our coaches to make more informed decisions in recruiting and scholarship offers. Through this we now have a better picture of who is at risk of losing crucial APR points and how to take preventative measures. I have also done research in LSDBi to find waivers that ensure we get every point possible. This summer Sam Houston made the switch to ACS and I was the lead in its implementation. Daily, I look for new ways to fully leverage our investment in the system to streamline the Compliance Office. I also am in charge of transcript evaluations, official visit approvals, CARA monitoring, all aspects of ACS, and game day monitoring of PSA complimentary admissions. Additionally, I have prepared paperwork and gathered documentation for medical waivers and secondary violation self-reports.
