What would a typical day on the job look like?): A:-Auto Mechanics is a job working and focusing on machinery and motor vehicles. Repairing cars/trucks/motorbikes. -Also diesel engines and machinery used for other purposes in the shop or at another workplace. -A typical day in this job would be coming in, getting the proper clothing on for the job (no jewelry, loose clothing, and long hair must be tied back). -Either going into the shop and seeing what needs to be worked on or what vehicles people are bringing in, or in the back office managing the budgets of how many parts are used, cost of paint (if given a paint job) and if any tools need replacement or repair. -Its a long job to do correctly, you have to be careful and cautious about what youre working on and your surroundings.

A: Yes always, because we will always need auto mechanics, sure the technology will be more advanced, but mechanics will have to adapt to it and learn new skills.

How does it suit/fit your personality, interests, characteristics, strengths, etc?): -Im a hands on person, and automotive really interests me a lot, Im planning on taking the automotive technologies in high school and plan on going to college for more automotive services and courses. Im a hands on worker, do what Im told, on time, awake and focused, and willing to learn new skills. I want to know how to fix cars because its a good skill to learn for yourself, and to help others if theyre having vehicle troubles.
