BLADDER WRACK (Fucus vesiculosus) Bladder wrack is a common brown sea vegetable that nestles upon rocks in colonies. Bladder wrack may also form mats of floating seaweed when torn from rocks during storms and wash ashore onto nearby beaches.

Bladder wrack has been used to soothe inflammation and assist in weight loss by nourishing an under-active thyroid. At a cellular level Bladder wrack has also been used to treat rheumatism and other inflammatory conditions. BROWN SEA VEGETABLES Brown sea vegetables thrive in lush underwater forests, and purport tremendous nutrients and compounds. Touting a powerful nutritional composition, brown sea vegetables are incredibly rich in magnesium, protein, Iodine, phosphorous, brown sea vegetables also contain Vitamins C, K, E, as well as zinc, sulfur, silicon, iron, copper, cobalt, boron, radium, and ultra-trace minerals. DABBER LOCKS (Alaria esculenta) Dabber locks or winged kelp grows in branched hold fasts where its blades have a distinct "wing" at the base. Found along the Artic to the northeast of the United States, Dabber locks are high in Vitamins A, B6, B12, and K. In addition to iodine and bromine, Dabber locks contain soluble nitrogen, cobalt, nickel, and other essential trace elements. Historically used by Icelanders in time of famine, Dabber locks has been considered to be one of the most easily digestible and well-tolerated sea vegetables, often consumed in significant qualities. DRIED ALOE VERA Whether drinking the liquid or powdered Body Balance youre getting the same potency and the same high quality ingredients. Both formulas use ingredients which are processed to retain the naturally present phytonutrients, enzymes, amino acids, vitamins and more. Just as with our liquid Body Balance formula, the Aloe vera used in the powdered formula uses only the potent inner leaf fillet. Beginning with freshly harvested leaves, the inner gel (fillet) is carefully removed to minimize disruption of the Aloin layer and further processed to remove the pulp and fiber. This gel is then concentrated utilizing cold-temperature evaporation to produce a liquid concentrate ready for spray drying. Finally, the non-preserved gel concentrate is spray dried, guaranteeing the presence of polysaccharides and leaving the natural balance of rich nutrients undisturbed. Aloe vera contains over 75 nutrients and 200 active compounds, including 12 vitamins, 20 minerals and 18 amino acids. Scientific studies have shown that Aloe vera contains many biologically active molecules, and is considered one of the most beneficial and useful botanicals on earth. Aloe vera has also demonstrated many important health-supporting benefits, including immune support, increasing bioavailability of nutrients, and support of GI health and digestion. DULSE (Palmaria palmata) Dulse is heralded as a phenomenal source of vitamins and nutrients, and cultures in Canada, Ireland, and Northern Europe have highly regarded Dulse for centuries.

Amply rich in Vitamins B6 and B12, Dulse offers iron, potassium and fluoride in digestible, easily assimilated quantities. Dulse also contains a host of other nutrients and vitamins, including Vitamin A, E, and C, magnesium, calcium, fiber, and protein. An excellent source of iodine, Dulse has been used to improve thyroid gland health and function. GIGARTINA CHAMISSOI (Red algae) Gigartina Chamissoi is a leafy red seaweed containing a plethora of beneficial polysaccharides (carragreenans). Scientists have discovered that these carragreenans may possess some unique medicinal properties. They have found them to be antibacterial as well as antiviral. In fact, carragreenans may also be anti-herpetic (able to kill the herpes viruses) and anti-coagulant. GREEN SEA VEGETABLES Like emeralds of the sea, green sea vegetables emit a wealth of minerals and nutrients in concentrations greater than can be found in many land-grown vegetables. Offering 60 to 70 percent digestible vegetable protein, green sea vegetables are also an important source of calcium, iron, enzymes and antioxidants. Green sea vegetables contain 60 to 70 percent vegetable protein and provide all of the essential amino acids. Green sea vegetables are also a rich source of iron, calcium, vitamin B12, enzymes and antioxidants. As a result of being so highly concentrated in so many nutrients, green algae offers numerous health promoting benefits, and may be useful in a variety of health-improving applications, such as anti-aging, energy, improved digestion, weight loss, stronger hair and nails, and more. IRISH MOSS (Chondrus crispus) Irish Moss boosts the body when recovering from an illness, unleashing a tidal wave of important nutrients-15 of the 18 elements composing the human body. Irish moss has also been used to treat bronchitis, thyroid dysfunction, and to improve and strengthen glands. Irish moss is also used as a gentle anticoagulant and has been used to treat gastrointestinal disturbances, such as diarrhea. Researchers have discovered that Irish moss may also improve blood pressure and may prove useful in the treatment of peptic ulcers without effecting colon health. Aloe vera has also demonstrated many important health-supporting benefits, including immune support, increasing bioavailability of nutrients, and support of GI health and digestion. NORI (Porphyra yezoensis) The Japanese consume approximately 10 billion sheets of nori per year, and for good reason-for centuries, nori has

long been purported as a food that supports longevity. Nori contains one of the highest concentrations of nutrients of all seaweeds, with as much protein as soybeans. Nori also supplies calcium and iron in qualities and qualities ideal for regular consumption. Nori also is vibrantly flavorful, and contains a rich reservoir of 12 essential vitamins, including A and B vitamins: Two sheets of nori contain daily recommended amounts of Vitamin A, B1, and B2.
